Church of the Transfiguration

OUR HISTORY

• February 1963 - the seed of an Anglican Mission, to server the residents of the Meadowbrook community was sown.  The mission started at the home of Mrs. Thomas at 34 Knightsdale Drive.

• November 1964 - construction of a building to house the church started (the current Percy Powell Church Hall) and was completed at the end of March 1965.

• June 16, 1973 - construction of the current church building started and was completed in 1974.

• February 2013 - We celebrated 50 years as a a church and service to our community.
